The Chamber of Professional Services is a business organisation (set up under Law 19/1977 of April 1st, 1977). Its members are professional firms that offer the construction sector the services of the liberal professions, which they exercise jointly, linked to architecture areas and engineering. It is mainly focused on the building and urban planning subsectors.
Acording to its statutes, the ACSYS groups the companies and professionals of Health and Safety Coordination, who act both in the project phase and in the work execution, as defined and developed in the Royal Decree 1627/1997, of October 24th, which establishes the minimum conditions of health and safety in construction works. Professionals who, due to their academic training, competences and specialities, preferably act as Health and Safety Coordinators.
The Cateb’s mission is to represent and organise the practice of the profession of quantity surveyor, technical architect and building engineer in order to achieve its technical, social and economic promotion and to project its social function.
